Katherine Friedell

Katherine focuses her practice on family law. She practices in the domestic relations court, handling divorces, dissolutions and post decree matters; and in the juvenile court private custody disputes and modifications and child support matters including the initial establishment of child support and modification of child support. 

Katherine is an active  Guardian ad Litem in the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court and in the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court.

Katherine advises clients before their contemplated marriage on the pros and cons of pre-marital agreements and has been involved in the negotiation and drafting of pre-marital agreements.

Before becoming an attorney in 1992, Katherine taught high school English at Hawken School and was actively involved in her community and its schools. Katherine is an involved member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and has been a part of its 3 R’s Program since its inception in 2006.

Katherine received her B.A. in English from The University of Michigan, Master of Arts in English from Case Western Reserve University and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law with honors.
